Anita rediscovered yoga as a means to weather the storm of mid-life and the counter the effects of working behind a desk for many years. Anita believes we are all born yogi's (observe any infant or toddler), and somehow, as we grow older, stop our physical play, becoming stiff and weak.

Anita's yoga practice strengthened her body and nourished her spirit, and in the fall of 2013 she enrolled in a yoga teacher training program to expand her knowledge and deepen her practice, studying the Jivasara method created by prominent Cleveland teacher Marni Task.

Anita’s classes are centered around the breath and encourage introspection. She is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and a certified Reiki practitioner.
