"I began practicing yoga in 2009 during a difficult period in my life, searching for a way to calm my mind and nerves. I tried different styles of yoga before finding ashtanga, and from the first class, I was hooked. I began practicing primary series and Rocket yoga 4-5 times per week, before committing to a daily practice in 2013. Ashtanga has taught me so much about myself, helping me overcome my fears on and off my mat. I completed the 200-hour Ashtanga Intensive teacher training through Yoga 101 and Yoga on High in 2014, studying under Laura Burt and Taylor Hunt, Authorized Level II. Yoga has transformed me as a person, and I hope to share my love of the practice with as many people as possible!"
