Kim Barner, RYT 200
I began my fitness career in 2002 by receiving my group exercise certification with AFAA. It was the best move I ever made. I had finally found the perfect job, and I soon trained and earned my Pilates and Personal Training certifications with AAAI/ISMA. I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Krysia Energy University in March 2013.
These last 12 years have been so amazing. I teach and have taught a wide range of classes.... Kickboxing, Step, aquatics, Pilates, various strength training/interval combination classes and most recently cycling, Senior fitness and Yoga. I think what I love the most about my job is how incredibly organic it is. It is always changing. It's moving. Growing. The focus, the people, and the atmosphere change much like the weather does. I love what I do, and I am lucky to be able to do it.
My approach to how I teach is with my heart. Fitness in all its forms should be fun. No judgments. My goal is to always build my students up. I want to nurture their souls; and by doing so, they nurture mine. You can reach me at:
